Congratulations to Mira Rich, from Casey Middle School. Thursday night she earned the title of "Queen of the County" at the Jefferson County Grade School Solo Scholar Bowl tournament!
During Scholar Bowl season, along with school team competitions, there are also Solo matches. Ten top scorers from those county matches are invited to compete, head to head, for "King or Queen of the County". Thursday night at Rend Lake College, Rich outscored them all to become Jefferson County's new Queen.
In 2022 another Casey Middle School star, and now MVTHS Scholar Bowler, Alistair Clodi (pictured here with Mira Rich) earned the title of King of the County.
Congratulations are due to all of the competitors, for earning their spots in the competition.
