MVTHS Distinguished Alumni Award
The Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee invites you to nominate a past MVTHS graduate for the MVTHS Distinguished Alumni Award. This award was established in 1990 and a list of all Distinguished Alumni recipients is included on the MVTHS website (www.mvths.org). The award recognizes outstanding contributions of MVTHS Graduates in the following areas:
● Exceptional Accomplishments in Chosen Field and Career
● Exceptional Contributions of Service and Leadership to Society
The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented to recipients at the Annual MVTHS Foundation Dinner in the Fall of each year. All past and current Distinguished Alumni recipients are recognized with a plaque in the school building as well as other forms of public recognition.
Instructions:
1. To nominate an individual please complete the attached nomination form. Feel free to attach no more than three pages of additional information in support of the nominee.
2. Mail or e-mail all nominations by June 15, 2024 to:

3. If you have previously nominated an individual, it is requested that you resubmit your nomination using this form.
Selection Process
1. A Distinguished Alumni Selection Committee consisting of Distinguished Alumni, Community Members, Teachers, and Foundation Members will select the Distinguished Alumni each year with the MVTHS Superintendent serving in an ex officio position.
2. There is no predetermined number of recipients each year, and your understanding that the selection process is limited is much appreciated.
3. If your nominee is not selected in a given year, your nomination application will be reviewed each year by the selection committee. However, a nominator should feel free to resubmit a nomination any time in order to update information.
