Mr. Foster announced the winners of the 4th Annual Engineering Lamp Design Competition this week. The year long contest challenges Engineering Design students to develop design, engineering, and manufacturing skills and bring their best to the tables. The designs are judged exclusively by MVTHS faculty and staff. "I always love to see how many faculty scrutinize the lamps and put meaningful consideration into their votes," Mr. Foster said.

Our 2nd Place overall and 1st Place Aesthetics lamp was designed by freshman Aubria Eckles. Mixing wood lathe work with 3-d printing and a delicate hand for painting made this lamp a popular choice.
Freshman Dash Waller took home 3rd Overall with a sleek and modern design that many said they'd love to see in their homes.
