For several years now, the MVTHS Lunch Supervision team has offered up a Halloween Costume Contest to students. This year, 5th hour lunch really took them up on it. And some of them showed up as a unit. It was outstanding.
School rules can make the contest a bit tougher than other locations: no weapons, not even fake ones; nothing with language or imagery that would be inappropriate any other day, and you can't walk around in a costume that hides your face. (They let students put on inflatables this year, in the cafeteria, for the contest.)
